MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
Former Minnesota Police Officer, Derek Chauvin has been found guilty on all counts, for the part he played in the death of George Floyd. Chauvin was convicted of second degree manslaughter, 2nd degree murder, and 3rd degree murder.

Judge Peter Cahill read the guilty verdict in the courtroom shortly after 5pm on Tuesday evening. The prosecution argued that Chauvin’s bail be revoked, and he immediately be taken into custody. The judge agreed with the prosecution, before he walked out of the courtroom. Derek Chauvin was placed in handcuffs be sheriff’s deputies shortly afterward. If sentenced to the maximum on all charges, Chauvin could be looking at up to 75-years in prison.
