CHICKASHA, OKLAHOMA
Oklahoma authorities say Lawrence Paul Anderson of Chickasha, Oklahoma, cut out his neighbors heart and served it to relatives for dinner, along with a side of roasted potatoes. Anderson allegedly said the heart was to “release the demons.”
Fox 2 Now (@FOX2now), reported that Lawrence was one of the beneficiaries of the mass commutation effort by the previous administration back in January of this year. Anderson is also accused of attempting to kill the very family members he tried to serve the heart dinner to. Anderson allegedly killed his uncle, severely wounded his aunt, and killed the couple’s 4-year old granddaughter. Anderson has been charged with first degree murder, assault/battery with a deadly weapon, and maiming. Anderson’s lawyer said he will seek a mental evaluation to see if his client is fit for trial. Police said they found a single vial of PCP in Anderson’s pocket when he was arrested. During a bail hearing on Tuesday, Anderson sobbed as he told the judge that he did not want a bail.
