I’m sure you’ve all heard the story by now. If you haven’t, here’s a brief summary of events: Kevin Durant and comedian, Michael Rappaport got into some kind of heated argument that took place in Rappaport’s Direct Messages on Instagram and Twitter. Rappaport released the messages in an Instagram Post with this caption

“I receive threats and disgusting messages DAILY, but never in my wildest dreams did I think {Kevin Durant} would be among them. The snake emoji is now threatening me, bringing up my wife and wants to fight. This is supposed to be America’s sweetheart right?”

The post has been since deleted from Rappaport’s Instagram page, but according to news reports, and the NBA’s actions afterward, the messages Durant sent were reportedly homophobic and anti-semetic. The NBA also fined Kevin Durant $50,000. Check out what Stephen A. Smith had to say about the drama.
