Police in Michigan arrested a 30-year old man from nearby Lawton, MI, on Friday after he gave them a fake name during a traffic stop , that belonged to a person wanted on an outstanding warrant.

WPXI Pittsburgh (@WPXI) reported that State Troopers say they spotted a vehicle parked on the shoulder of M-55 in Clam Lake Township around 6:30 am on Friday. Cops say they noticed there was a woman in the driver’s seat and a man in the passenger’s seat, as they approached the vehicle from the rear. When the cops turned on their lights, the man ducked down in the seat. The police got to the car and asked his name, and that’s when he gave them the fake name with the warrants on it. It really didn’t matter though. The cops also said they found meth, small baggies, cash, and a scale on the man as a result of searching him during the traffic stop. He was arrested with attempt to distribute Meth among a host of other charges.
