The coroner’s report for Andre Hill shows that he was shot four times when a now former Columbus, OH Police Officer killed him last year. According to the autopsy, Hill was shot 3 times in the right leg, and once in the chest. The autopsy report was released on Friday, and almost immediately snatched up by media outlets. WSYX-TV (ABC), reportedly grabbed the report first.

47-year old Andre Hill was gunned down by former police officer, Adam Coy. According to an article from ABC News (@abcnews), Coy, who is white, has been charged with murder in the death of Andre Hill. Coy pleaded not guilty to one count of murder, one count of felonious assault, and two counts of dereliction of duty, last month. Coy was released from jail on Feb. 9th after posting $1 million bond. His next court hearing is scheduled for April 28th.

Andre Hill was killed when police officers, including Coy, were called to a 3-1-1 non emergency call for a noise complaint. Coy claimed he thought Hill was holding a gun when he shot him. Hill was actually unarmed and carrying a cell-phone in his left hand when Coy fired on him. Coy was fired from the force in December, after an investigation determined that his use of deadly force was not reasonable.
