Police in Lexington, Kentucky arrested a man outside of KU’s, Chandler Hospital. The police were called to the location after being tipped off by nearby authorities that a possibly armed and dangerous man was coming to the premises.

The Hill (@thehill) reported, that Bryan Carroll was arrested at the hospital without incident. He was wearing a bulletproof vest and carrying multiple weapons at the time of his arrest. After a search, police found what they called “suspected explosive devices” in Carroll’s car. Carroll is reportedly from nearby Versailles, Kentucky. The Versailles PD were the tipsters that warned Lexington PD of Carroll’s imminent arrival at the campus. No word on how Versailles PD knew Carroll was heavily armed and on his way to the hospital in Lexington. Police did not specify what crimes Carroll was being charged with, but did say “He will be charged with multiple state charges as well as pending federal charges.”
