Julian Elie Khater, 32, from Pennsylvania, and George Pierre Tanios, 39, from West Virginia was arrested by Federal Authorities on Sunday night. Both men have been charged with assaulting Capitol Police Officer, Brian Sicknick, about an hour before he died, from still unknown causes due to the January riot at the Capitol.

The Washington Post (@washingtonpost) reported, that the two men are expected to make their first court appearance at some time on Monday. The pair have been charged with 9 counts of assault on multiple officers, civil disorder, and obstructing a Congressional proceeding. The Washington Post said the arrest of the two was the result of “tipsters” who’d recognized the pair from video they saw on television.
