The United States House passed President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion Covid relief package. The package includes some good things for many people who are currently in need of a little help. One of the biggest pieces in the legislation were $1400 relief checks. The details of those are a little sketchy, but chances are pretty good that if you got a Stimulus check last time, you’re likely going to get those $14 bills too. Another huge part was the unemployment extension that was set to expire this month for most people. Those will continue until at least September with the signing of this new bill. There’s also money for hospitals, vaccines, and to help get kids back to school. There’s also a $3000 per/kid boost for most parents in this bill. There seems to be lots of money flowing to regular working people this time. That’s definitely different than what we’re used to in this country. This was a huge win for Democrats, and it’s the fault of Republicans. They fought this bill at every turn, for no real recognizable reason. Republicans were too blinded by politics to realize…….or care that many people in the districts they represent, need this money. This Covid issue is not a Democratic or Republican problem. It’s a problem for the entire country, hell, likely the entire planet Earth. I’m not a fortune teller, but after Democrats get finished telling everyone how they passed this huge bill for the regular people of this country, with zero help from Republicans, I predict this will come back to bite the Republicans in the ass, in the very near future.
