Another woman has come forward on Tuesday with claims that she was sexually harassed by New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo. This makes the sixth such claim of sexual harassment Cuomo has been accused of.
The Independent (@Independent) reported, that this newest allegation allegedly took place last year at the Governor’s mansion. The claimant was a member of The Executive Chamber Staff, at the time. The details are sketchy…or unavialable…at least, to me, but it’s been reported that staff members reported the incident to the Governor. Four of the other five women who accused Cuomo of sexual harassment and other charges, were all former staff members. Multiple New York lawmakers have already called for Cuomo’s resignation. In a statement, last week, Cuomo said he was not going to resign. “I’m going to do the job the people elected me for.” Cuomo said in the statement. Some of the claims against Cuomo include:
- Kissing the hand of one of his former aides and inquiring about her personal life
- Asking a former aide about her marriage and hugging her in a way that was “very long, too long, too tight, too intimate
- Giving an aide an unwanted kiss
- And one count of attempted “grooming” of a female aide by asking about her sex life
