While everybody seems to still be on edge while they wait to see where Skully will strike next, Franklin finds new trouble headed his way. His former policeman neighbor’s police friend, Officer friends. Well, one of them, Officer Nix. Nix is the same police officer that confronted Franklin’s dad at his shelter last episode. After Franklin warned Nix to leave his family alone or he would regret it, Nix went after Franklin’s mom. He came to the house and arrested her in front of Franklin and Franklin’s dad. Instead of taking her to the police station to charge her with “disturbing the peace”, like he claimed, Nix drove Mrs. Saint to the cemetery. Nix roughed her up right in front of Andre’s grave before he disappeared. Of course, Franklin is pissed.
While that’s going on, Teddy and Gustavo is continuing to have trouble with the law in a small city in Mexico. They need to use the city as a pit-stop as they move their cocaine from Mexico to the United States. The new sheriff of the town told Teddy and Gustavo that he wanted $100,000 to allow them to use his town to move their drugs. Teddy tries to cut a deal with the new sheriff and offers him $50,000. The sheriff tells them they will have his answer in the next 24 hours. The sheriff’s answer came in the form of him having Gustavo’s family killed and writing $100,000 on the floor in the deceased blood. Gustavo wants revenge. Teddy uses his CIA connections to get some help from the Mexican government. They agree to help him bring down the sheriff, under one condition: No Violence. Gustavo breaks the agreement when he finds one of the sheriff’s partner’s and kills him. He also uses his blood to write $100,000 on the ground. The sheriff gets nervous when he sees what happened to his friend. He starts to wonder if he messed with the wrong people. The sheriff heads for shelter, surrounded by his personal army of henchmen. The original plan was to flush the sheriff out anyway, but now Teddy and Gustavo doesn’t have help to go into the compound and take the sheriff down, because Gustavo broke the prior agreement. Teddy and Gustavo goes up in the compound solo. They kill all the henchmen and the sheriff. Gustavo now knows that Teddy is CIA, but he also respects him after he saw him put in some work. In my opinion, that little piece of work they did together is going to strengthen their bond…..Just my opinion!
Things aren’t going so great for Leon and his crew. Still no coke. And now word is, that Skully might be coming for them, even though they had nothing to do with Franklin trying to set Skully up. As a matter of fact, everybody seems to be concerned about Skully striking back, except for the one person besides Franklin who should really be worried. Manboy, who seems to give zero fucks about Skully or Franklin honestly. Manboy seems to want Franklin out of the way. He even told Franklin’s Uncle Jerome and Aunt Louie that they get along better when Franklin is not around. But back to Leon, the frustration of not having a reliable coke-connect with consistently good product like Franklin, is taking it’s toll on Leon and everyone else in his operation. Money has slowed down and everyone is frustrated….including the customers. Particularly Wanda. Remember her? Leon’s old girlfriend, before she started smoking crack. Leon runs into Wanda as she’s arguing with one of the dealers about the quality of the product they’re selling. Leon walks up on the argument and pulls Wanda away. Leon disappointedly asks Wanda, “What happened to you?” Wanda doesn’t get what Lee was talking about at that moment, but later on she does. After taking another hit of crack, Wanda’s tooth begins to feel funny. After checking her mouth she ends up pulling her tooth out. As she’s standing there bleeding, her crackhead friends laugh at her. Wanda runs to the nearest mirror to check on her missing tooth. She gets a look at something else. What people really see when they see her! Wanda is a mess. And she can finally see it for the first time. She asks herself the same question that Lee asked her. I believe Wanda is going to clean herself up and get back with Lee. What you think? Hopefully, we’ll find out next week!
