Minnesota Timberwolves guard, Malik Beasly has been suspended by the NBA for 12 games without pay. This comes after Beasley’s guilty plea in court, stemming from an incident in September of last year. The details of the case are not present to me, but Beasly pled guilty to one felony count of “threats of violence.”

ESPN’s Tim Bontemps (@TimBontemps), reported that Beasley’s 12-game suspension begins on Saturday night, when the Wolves are scheduled to travel to Washington to play the Wizards. Beasley will be eligible to come back on March 27, when the Wolves are set to play host to the Houston Rockets. Beasley will reportedly lose $1.1 million in salary from the 12-game suspension without pay.
