“That’s a significant amount of Meth.” Was the message from the DEA’s acting Administrator, Timothy Shea, after his DEA Agency announced the seizure of over 2,200 pounds of the lethal drug Methamphetamine earlier this month. The drugs were seized from an alleged stash house east of Los Angeles in Perris, California on October 2nd.

According to CNN (@cnn), the DEA also found more than 880 pounds of cocaine inside the house. Authorities told CNN that the drugs were found inside of 25 duffel bags, and ready for distribution. The drug seizure was part of the DEA’s ongoing initiative “Operation Crystal Shield,” an undercover narcotics operation that targets cities where Meth is often trafficked in bulk.
