A body that was discovered on Venice Beach has been positively identified as WWE star Shad Gaspard. The body was found on Wednesday morning, three days after Gaspard went missing during a swim.
According to CNN (@CNN) 39-year old, Gaspard, went missing Sunday after he went for a swim in the newly reopened Marina Del Ray with his 10-year old son. Los Angeles County reopened its beaches last week for physical activities. The beach had previously been closed to combat the spreading of the Coronavirus. The police department stated that “when last seen by the lifeguard, a wave had crashed over Mr. Shad Gaspard and he was swept out to sea.” The U.S Coast Guard searched for Gaspar from Sunday to Tuesday, when the search was suspended.
CRYME TYME
Gaspar was best known for being a member of the wrestling team Cryme Tyme, along with fellow wrestler JTG. The team debuted in 2006. Gaspar also appeared in movies, Think Like A Man and The Last Sharknado It’s About Time.
