HBO’s newest drama series Lovecraft Country is based off the 2016 novel by Matt ruff with the same title. J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele teamed up to produce what HBO is hoping will be a summer blockbuster. The series has some familiar faces that you may have seen in other HBO series, such as Michael K. Williams (Omar – The Wire), Jurnee Smollett-Bell (True Blood), Courtney B. Vance (The Immortal Life Of Henrietta Lacks – A True Crime Story), Jonathan Majors (We Will Rise), and a host of others you may be familiar with. The ten episode series is expected to premiere in August 2020 on HBO. Check out the trailer below:
