According to the Associated Press (@apoddities), the 36-year old woman repeatedly called emergency dispatchers because her parents had terminated her cell phone service, which the parents had been paying for. After a few calls, an officer contacted Khetarpal and told her that emergency services were only for emergencies. She called again, two hours later and told them that she believed her cell phone service was an emergency issue.
