This is former Commissioner of the NY/NJ Port Authority, Caren Z. Turner. Ms. Turner didn’t like the fact that her child and child’s friend were pulled over and cited for speeding by the police. So, she decided to let the police know who she was, who she knew, and what she could have done to them for having the audacity to site her child for speeding. Ms. Turner also let the police know that they were stupid. She was not calm about doing so either. From way over here, watching the video, I felt that the lives and safety of these two officers were in direct danger. Why is it that officers at a Waffle House in Alabama felt that their safety was so threatened by one woman, but these officers clearly did not? Ms. Turner was not even issued a citation for verbal intimidation of a peace officer. The young woman in Alabama was roughly taken into custody. Can you guess why it was that two women were treated in such a completely different manner???
