PITTSBURGH, PA

I’m guessing that the Pittsburgh Police Department knows something that we don’t. Pittsburgh police detectives will report for work wearing full riot gear on Thursday, in anticipation of a large scale protest should Donald Trump decide to fire Robert Mueller.

The New York Daily News (@NYDailyNews) reports, Major Crimes Commander, Victor Joseph instructed his unit to bring “a full uniform and any issued protective equipment (riot gear) to work until further notice, WPXI.com reported.

The memo was issued based on “information of a large scale protest in the Central Business District.”

“There is a belief that President Trump will soon move to fire Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller. This would result in a large protest within 24 hours of the firing. The protest would be semi-spontaneous and more than likely happen on short notice.” The memo read.

It’s not clear what information Joseph has received to make him call for detectives to be ready with riot gear at this particular moment, but, like Trump always like to say “I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”
