Yesterday, The New Yorker (@NewYorker), reported that American Media Inc. (The National Enquirer) paid Dino Sajudin, who had worked as a doorman at Trump Tower, $30,000 for a story, then buried it rather than publishing it. Sajudin released a statement telling the same story he’d told the publication that decided to bury the story.

 

 

 

“Today I awoke to learn that a confidential agreement that I had with AMI (The National Enquirer) with regard to a story about President Trump was leaked to the press. I can confirm that while working at Trump World Tower I was instructed not to criticize President Trump’s former housekeeper due to a prior relationship she had with President Trump which produced a child.”

 

 

Sajudin said in a statement to CNN. Newsweek.com (@Newsweek) reports, Sajudin’s story has not yet been confirmed. The payment and agreement by The National Enquirer with Sajudin, were reportedly made in November 2015, as Trump was on the campaign trail. The housekeeper and her child have not been named in news reports and Sajudin’s claims remain unverified. The problem for Trump and The National Enquirer is that this is now the second allegation made that the publication purchased and shelved a story in order to protect Donald Trump. An action that experts suggest could put the National Enquirer in a position of leverage over the current president of the United States. And it leaves the unanswered question….if the current president of the United States can be blackmailed and leveraged for something as small as an affair, how far would the current president be willing to go in order to cover up bigger and more major crimes of his….if such crimes exist?
