Tisha Campbell Martin has filed for divorce from her husband of 22 years, Duane Martin. The story was reported by many outlets earlier today. Tisha Martin confirmed the reports on her Twitter page as she asked for privacy during this “emotional” time.
Tisha Martin has appeared in many movies and television shows over the years, but is probably still best known for her role as “Gina”, Martin Lawrence’s girlfriend on the 90’s sitcom Martin. Duane Martin has appeared in many films over the years, but is probably best known for his role as “Kyle Watson” the basketball phenom in the movie “Above The Rim” where he starred alongside Tupac Shakur, Marlon Wayans, Wood Harris, and Leon. Both Martins appeared in Kevin Hart’s show “Real Husbands Of Hollywood” where they played themselves. No word on why the two are calling it quits…….In totally unrelated news, there have been rumors that the cast of Martin are getting back together for a reboot. I really hope they don’t. Reboots are usually terrible. Just let me enjoy the reruns of the old Martin on TvOne and BET.
