Six Democrats introduced articles of Impeachment against Donald Trump today (November 15th). The Dems are accusing Donald Trump of obstruction of justice among other offenses. The articles have very little chance of getting any movement in the Republican-majority house.

Bloomberg Politics (@bpolitics) reports, the five articles accuse the president of obstruction of justice related to the FBI investigation into Russia meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, undermining the federal judiciary, and violating the foreign emoluments clause, which bars public officials from receiving gifts from foreign governments without the consent of Congress. Rep. Steve Cohen (D- Tennessee) is the sponsor of the resolution. Luis Guittierez (D- Ill), Al Green (D- Texas), Marcia Fudge (D- Ohio), John Yarmuth (D- Kentucky), and Adriano Espaiilat (D- NY) all endorsed the articles of impeachment. It has yet to be seen if other House or Senate Dems will join in and endorse the articles of impeachment, but it is highly unlikely that these articles receives any more support at this time, as most Democrats and Republicans seem to be waiting on the results of special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump and his administration.
