Jelani Meraj, older brother of pop star, Nicki Minaj has been found guilty in his trial on child rape related charges. The verdict came in today (Thursday November 9) after a 3 week trial. TMZ (@tmz) reports, Meraj was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child. Meraj faces a sentence of 25 years to life in prison when he goes for sentencing on December 14th. Nicki Minaj did not testify at her brother’s criminal trial. It’s unclear if she will testify as a character witness when he is sentenced.
