Myeshia Johnson, widow of Sgt. La David Johnson who was killed in an ambush in Niger, went on Good Morning America to speak about her husband. Mrs. Johnson also confirmed Congresswoman Wilson’a account of the widow’s phone call with the president of the United States. Donald Trump immediately took to Twitter to deny and dispute the claim of the Gold Star widow.
“I had a very respectful conversation with the widow of Sgt. La David Johnson, and spoke his name from beginning, without hesitation!”
Three different women riding in the car while the conversation between the president and Mrs. Johnson took place. Mrs. Johnson had the conversation on speakerphone for every person riding in the car to hear. Three different woman all gave the same account of the conversation. Those three women were black. The president and his followers have somehow managed to make sense out of attacking these women for telling the truth. Two of the women were Gold Star family members.(La David’s mother and wife) The same people attacking these black women are the very same people who were outraged by the NFL protest, claiming…….it was disrespectful to our military. So, kneeling for the National Anthem is disrespectful to the military, but disrespecting the widow of a Sgt. that died fighting for this Country is not? Or does military service only matter to these people if you are white? It’s a sad state this Country is in today, and it gets sadder and more divided by the day. Each lie the president tells manages to divide this Country more…..Anyway, here’s the video of Mrs. Johnson speaking about her husband and the phone call with the president on GMA this morning.
