SANDUSKY DENIED NEW TRIAL

Ex-Penn State Football coach Jerry Sandusky has been denied a new trial on the sex abuse charges he’s currently serving a 30-60 year sentence in a state prison for. Eight of Sandusky’s accusers testified to acts of sexual abuse that ranged from grooming and fondling to violent sexual attacks. Sandusky has maintained his innocence. Claiming that he did not receive adequate representation during his 2012 trial. NBC News (@nbcnews) reports that Judge John Foradora ruled that he was denying Sandusky’s request for a new trial and dismissal of the charges. Sandusky’s lawyers have 30 days to appeal the judge’s decision to the Superior Court.
